Stories of immigration are both humbling and humanizing. They reveal so much about strength, courage, sacrifice, and the persistence of the individual spirit. Such stories also make us think about all of the people, organizations, and institutions, both at home and in the United States, that support immigrants.
We asked our students in the California Immigration Semester to create a digital story on ANY topic related to immigration. ANY topic. All of the projects were amazing and we plan to share all of them with you. Here’s the first one–the digital story Journeys, in which five students really captured the complexity of immigration!
